Seinfeld's famed Soup Nazi will be making a special appearance at Zoup! in Southfield, Mich., to celebrate the location's grand re-opening.
On October 9, actor Larry Thomas, who was immortalized for his bellowing, "No soup for you," will be filming segments for a viral marketing campaign for Zoup! at the Southfield restaurant. The Northwestern location is home to the concept’s first restaurant.
The restaurant originally opened in 1998 and was recently updated with a redesigned layout featuring new interior design elements – including new décor, equipment and digital menu boards.
“We have learned a lot over the past 12 years and are extremely excited about reopening the restaurant with our brand new look,” said Eric Ersher, founder and managing partner of Zoup! “In honor of our 12 year anniversary and new store design, we are excited to have the unique opportunity to work on a viral marketing campaign with a sought-after TV icon that solely became the symbol for the power of soup.”
