Schlotzsky's partners with Austin Film Festival

AustinBusiness Journal: The Austin Film Festival's Young Filmmakers Program and Schlotzsky's are partnering up to launch the first "Sandwich Your Story Into 60 Seconds" competition. The contest will be held annually, and the submission deadline for the initial competition is Oct. 1.
 
"The challenge is to sandwich their story down to one minute," says Bob Barnes, chief executive of Schlotzsky's. "People love great, entertaining TV commercials, but it takes more creativity and craftsmanship than meets the eye. We see this as a fun opportunity to sponsor a competition for young filmmakers to learn about what it takes to get their story across within this short-form environment."
