Salsarita's celebrates Cinco de Mayo 55 cent combos

Salsarita's Fresh Cantina is celebrating Cinco de Mayo with a week-long promotion at its restaurants across the country. From May 3-9, guests can add a large combo to any entrée for just 55 cents, which includes a side of Salsarita's seasoned chips, choice of fresh signature salsa and a large drink.
 
Salsarita's specializes in serving made-to-order burritos, tacos, tortilla, pizzas and taco salads that are prepared fresh daily. Salsarita's also offers a choice of 13 fillings and four homemade salsas.
  
"Honoring Cinco de Mayo has become a tradition at Salsarita's and we believe it's important to celebrate Mexico's culture,"said Paul Mangiamele, president and CEO, Salsarita's Fresh Cantina. "We invite families and friends to join us in the festivities and take advantage of this celebratory pricing.We're looking forward to offering some of our most popular menu items at a discounted price and believe our customers will appreciate the value."
 
In 2009, Salsarita's opened restaurants in Charlotte and Greenville, N.C., Clarence, N.Y., Jacksonville, Fla., Murfreesboro and Knoxville, Tenn., and other markets around the country. In addition, new development agreements were signed for the opening of more than 15 locations in the U.S.
 
The company is currently closing in on its first hundred restaurants with the goal of having 200 open and operating by the end of 2014. Most recently, a location opened in Auburn University in Alabama and restaurants in Puerto Rico, Tyler, Texas, and Overland Park, Kans., are slated to open this spring.
