Salata expanding into a slew of new markets

Salata, Houston-based salad and salad wrap concept, is getting ready to expand to 200 new locations.

Since Q1 of 2016, 50 franchise agreements have been signed, tapping into five new markets, according to a press release.

"Consumers today are looking for fresh and healthy dining options that are also convenient. The fresh, fast-casual market is expanding at a fast pace. We are entering a very strong growth phase, and our goal at the end of the day is to be most sought after healthy restaurant of choice," said Salata Founder and CEO Berge Simonian, in a release.
