Salata announces Kingswood grand opening

Salata is celebrating the opening of its 56th location in Texas this week with a new Kingswood unit, according to a press release.

"We are very excited to introduce Salata to the Kingwood area," Shaz Amarsi, Salata's Kingwood projects coordinator, said in the release. "We are dedicated to serving healthy, quality food to our guests and we're looking forward to supporting the schools, charities and other organizations throughout our local community."

The Kingswood location is offering a free small wrap or salad to its first 50 guests, along with other promotions during its grand opening event. The unit will also donate 50 percent of its proceeds from the grand opening to help Seth Haynes, a local boy injured while riding his bike by a vehicle.  

"Our hearts went out to Seth and his family when we heard about his unexpected accident," Karim Haji, Salata's Kingwood franchisee, said  in the release. "We felt it was important to join the community in support of Seth's recovery."
