Saladworks signs multiunit deal for San Diego, Palm Springs

CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa. — Saladworks has announced it has entered into an agreement with a multiunit developer to open nine locations in the San Diego and Palm Springs, Calif., areas. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

The four-year agreement will allow Bruce P. Bear LLC to develop Saladworks locations in metro San Diego and Palm Springs. The first location will open in the Country Club Village Shopping Center in Rancho Mirage by the end of this year.

Saladworks has one open location in California at the Sacramento International Airport and is developing the Boston and Atlanta markets in which it sold multiunit franchise deals in 2008. Three locations are slated to open in Boston and 10 in metro Atlanta.
