Saladworks rolls out new menu items
April 28, 2010
Saladworks has unveiled its new menu, now available in more than 100 locations nationwide. All Saladworks restaurants now offer more than 50 fresh salad ingredients, including avocado, edamame and chick peas.
The new ingredients were added as part of the franchise's "True Nutrition" guide to healthy eating, which both educates and empowers Saladworks customers to make more nutritious decisions. The ingredients were tested in 10 stores over an 18-month period, said Erin Salvatore, Saladworks PR coordinator.
"Because our mission statement is to 'Provide A Fanatical Customer Experience,' we wanted our new menu changes to be based on what our customers want. We asked not only our customers what they wanted to see, but we also looked at what kinds of ingredients were becoming popular across the country," Salvatore said.
Each Saladworks restaurant was converted to the new menu over a two week period. Staff training, revised operations manuals and in-store support also complimented the roll out of the new menu.
Saladworks also unveiled a variety of signature salads that average less than 300 calories. More information on True Nutrition can be found at the website.
