Saladworks launches new celebrity salad

CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa. — Saladworks has announced the launch of its latest celebrity salad, created by chef and restaurateur David Burke.
The third and newest installment of Saladworks' Signature Series is the "Chicken Asparagusto," featuring a mix of fresh chicken and grilled asparagus along with cucumbers, sweet peppers and almonds on a bed of iceberg and romaine lettuce. It is topped with a creamy Caesar dressing. As part of the Signature Series program, Saladworks will donate $5,000 to the charity of the chef's choice. Burke's charity is Table to Table, a community-based program which collects prepared and perishable food and delivers it free of charge to homeless shelters, drug rehab centers and others in Northern New Jersey. The "Chicken Asparagusto" salad is available beginning July 15 at all 95 Saladworks locations until Sept. 30, 2008, when the next Signature Series salad is revealed.
