FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Margate, Fla.-based Salad Creations has expanded its franchising scope with their latest restaurant opening in Charlotte, N.C.
The opening marks the company's 10th U.S.-based location in less than two years. In addition, Salad Creations has sold 55 franchises to date and plans to open more than 40 locations by December 2007.
"Our growth and success is in response to consumers who are tired of traditional burgers and fries, and looking for a fresh alternative," said Jeff Levine, Salad Creations founder and chief executive. "Until now, consumers' choices have been limited regarding fresh foods, but at Salad Creations our guests create their own salad from a wide range of fresh ingredients."
In addition to salads, Salad Creations offers a variety of daily soup specials, fresh wraps and a complete line of smoothies.
Other Salad Creations locations can be found in Washington, D.C., Florida, Ohio, Rhode Island, Virginia and Mexico.
