Red Robin Gourmet Burgers has opened the doors of its fast casual restaurant, Burger Works, in Denver.
The menu consists of several burger options featured on Red Robin's menu -- such as the Whiskey River BBQ, 5 Alarm, Royal and Banzai -- in addition to a few of its own signature creations. The Tavern Double includes two one-third-pound patties in addition to lettuce, roma tomato and mayonnaise, while the Veggie Portaballa Burger features a Portabella Mushroom marinated in dijon vinaigrette, chipotle mayo, roma tomatoes and lettuce.
Burgers are prepared using either a one-third-pound beef patty or chicken breast. The menu also includes a build-your-own option, fresh salads and chicken tenders. Individual burger prices range from $4.99 to $6.49. The restaurant also serves beer and wine.
To top each burger, guests are given several free options in addition to premium offerings. Premium options include applewood-smoked bacon, fried egg, guacamole and onion straws. Traditional toppings include BBQ sauce, chipotle mayo, thai chili ketchup, onions and jalapenos.
Red Robin CEO Steve Carley (formerly of El Pollo Loco) said he plans to take the concept into more urban settings and non-traditional locations currently off limits to Red Robin. Red Robin has 321 company stores and another 137 franchised locations.
