Rapp Collins Worldwide Wins Brinker Brands Marketing Account, Win Signals Move From Mass to Target Marketing Approach.

DALLAS, Oct 13, 2005 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- In a marriage of two of Dallas' leading marketing organizations, Rapp Collins Worldwide (Omnicom), the industry leading direct marketing agency, has been awarded AOR status for Brinker International's premium brands, which include Romano's Macaroni Grill, On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina and Maggiano's Little Italy restaurant chains. Cindy Davis, managing director, Rapp Collins, Dallas, will lead the account team with campaigns rolling out early in 2006. Budget was not disclosed.
 
Brinker's Becky Johnson, senior vice president for marketing and brand development, led the agency search, which resulted in a shift from mass marketing to a targeted, brand-building direct marketing focus. "We are confident that we can significantly stretch our marketing budget and take our marketing program to a more customized, personalized level that will enhance customer relationships by shifting focus to direct marketing with Rapp Collins."

Rapp Collins will handle responsibilities of both brand stewards and targeted ROI-driven communications. The scope of work will include media planning and buying, and other AOR responsibilities, including creative and production.
