Raising Cane's founder to appear in reality show

LOS ANGELES — Raising Cane's founder Todd Graves and his wife Gwen will appear as part of the cast of Secret Millionaire, a new reality show premiering Dec. 3 at 8 p.m. Eastern time on the Fox network.
 
The participants, all millionaires, will live on minimum wage to experience life in some of the most impoverished areas of the country including a community devastated by Hurricane Katrina, an old coal-mining town in Schuylkill County, Pa., and areas outside of Los Angeles, San Francisco and Las Vegas.
 
During their stay, the participants will decide who will receive a gift at least $100,000.  The Secret Millionaires are:
  • Gurbaksh Chahal, San Jose, Calif. — A technology entrepreneur, Chahal, also known as "G," left high school at age 16 to form Click Agents, an Internet advertising company, which he sold two years later for $40 million. In January 2004, Chahal launched BlueLithium, a company focused on the next generation in online advertising, and just over three years later, BlueLithium was sold to Yahoo! for $300 million. Now, at 26 years old, Chahal is set to debut his third company, gwallet.com, and has written a memoir, titled "The Dream," to be released later this year.
  • Todd and Gwen Graves, Baton Rouge, La. — Todd Graves worked in refineries as a boilermaker and commercial fisherman in Alaska to realize his dream and open his first restaurant at age 24 in 1996. Named after his dog, Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers is now a 75 unit quick-service restaurant chain with locations in 13 states. His wife, Gwen, a former McDonald's franchisee, now focuses on being a mother and is actively involved in the community with Graves and dog, Cane II.
  • Gregory R. Haerr, Salt Lake City — Haerr is the founder and CEO of Century Software Inc., as well as founder and chief maintainer of the Microwindows Project. As the sole owner of all of his companies, Haerr has reinvested his profits and formed several successful real estate ventures in land banking and land development, focusing his efforts in the northwest U.S.
  • Myles and Cynthia Kovacs, Los Angeles — Myles Kovacs was the co-founder of Dub Magazine, a publication devoted to custom-car culture with a readership of over 9.5 million per year. He partners with corporations such as Pepsi, Mattel, Procter & Gamble, Energizer, Chrysler LLC, Wal-Mart, Best Buy and General Motors. Kovacs and his wife Cynthia have two children.
  • Gregory Ruzicka and Cole Ruzicka, Newport Beach, Calif., and Maui, Hawaii — Greg Ruzicka is the founding and managing partner of Ruzicka & Wallace LLP, a law firm in Irvine, Calif.. He is also a principal broker of RS&W Realty, Inc; and an owner of Island Spirit Yoga Studio and Sportswear in Lahaina, Hawaii. Since 1995, Ruzicka has acted as General Counsel to Real Estate Owned Managers of California, the national trade organization of the non-performing asset industry. His son Cole is a college student, aspiring model and musician.
  • Molly Shattuck, Baltimore — Shattuck is married to Mayo Shattuck III and is the mother of five children. Shattuck previously served as a corporate center director for Sylvan Learning Systems and as a marketing associate for Alex. Brown & Sons Inc. She became nationally known when, at the age of 38, she became the oldest cheerleader in NFL history, cheering for the Baltimore Ravens.
