Quiznos names former Yum exec to marketing post

DENVER — Toasted sub chain Quiznos has appointed Steve Provost to the position of executive vice president and chief marketing officer, effective March 26.

Provost was the former chief marketing and food innovation officer for Louisville, Ky.-based Yum Brands Inc.'s A&W and Long John Silver's brands. Hewill report to Quiznos chief executive Greg Brenneman.

Provost's responsibilities will include building the Quiznos brand in national and international markets. Additionally, he will be responsible for product development and menu review at the chain.
