Quiznos' Baby Bob to promote VH1's 100 Greatest Teen stars
February 7, 2006
DENVER — Baby Bob knows a thing or two about being a child star, rising to fame as the world's first spokesbaby, and appearing alongside supermodels, sports heroes and famous chefs on behalf of Quiznos Sub. Now, this pint-sized pitchman lends his talent and wit to promoting "VH1's 100 Greatest Teen Stars," making him the first baby to promote a major network television show.
According to a news release, Bob said: "As soon as I heard about the show, I had my people try and get me on the list. I mean, I'm not as young as I look. Oh well, if VH1 ever decides to do a 100 Greatest Baby Stars show, I'm a shoe-in!"
Bob's promotion of "100 Greatest Teen Stars" includes television spots and Internet advertising, including a special website where visitors can vote whether their favorite teen stars' careers are "Toasty Hot" or "Gone Cold." VH1's "100 Greatest Teen Stars" premieres this week on VH1.
