Port City Java opens at NCSU

WILMINGTON, N.C. — Port City Java has announced it has opened a new café at North Carolina State University. The new café is on the main campus of the university and is the second Port City Java to open at NCSU. The location also marks the fifth Port City Java to open in the Raleigh, Cary and Durham, N.C., market.
Port City Java also announced same-store corporate-owned café sales increased 7 percent in November 2007 over the same period one year ago.
Overall, corporate-owned café sales increased 23 percent in November 2007, compared to the same period last year.Management attributes the positive results to core basic operations execution, consistent local-area marketing and an expanded menu of breakfast sandwiches.
