PizzaRev revs up support for the needy

March 17, 2017

PizzaRev's Pizzas for a Purpose fundraiser is coinciding with the the chain's latest opening in Coral Gables, Florida.

The location, opening March 30 on Miracle Mile, asks guests to "pay-what-you-want" for their first custom-built, personal-sized pizza, with all proceeds going to the Feeding South Florida hunger relief organization that serves the needy in four of the state's southernmost counties.

The opening is the first of 45 sites that Surfside Pizza plans to open in the southern region of the state, according to Surfside CEO Chris Mellgren, who also owns one of the state's largest Dunkin' Donuts franchise networks, Surfside Coffee.

"Our team is fired up about our first of many PizzaRev openings and couldn't be happier with choosing Coral Gables as the launch pad for South Florida's PizzaRev-olution," said Mellgren.
