Pie Five adds iced tea platform

Pie Five Pizza has added a new iced tea lineup in partnership with La Crème Coffee & Tea, a Dallas-based specialty coffee roaster and tea purveyor. According to a news release, Pie Five’s new beverages include:

• Classic Black Tea (sweetened and unsweetened) — a medium-body, tangy brew made from 100 percent pure Ceylon tea; and
• Perfectly Peach Ginger Tea — a light blend of white, green and oolong teas infused with real peach bits and ginger root.

"Our guests have always appreciated our wide selection of sodas, juices, beer and wine, and now they'll have another premium option thanks to the La Crème teas," Pie Five CEO Randy Gier said in the release.  "We think La Crème is a perfect match for Pie Five because their teas are handcrafted, use all natural ingredients and are made fresh daily in the restaurant — just like our pizzas."
