Piccadilly expanding to-go locations to Louisiana

Piccadilly Restaurants is opening Louisiana's first Piccadilly To Go location Nov. 7 in Baton Rouge.  The 1,320-square-foot location, at 216 Lee Dr., offers online, call-in and walk-in orders, according to a company press release.

Each day Piccadilly To Go will feature a large selection of classic favorites, prepared on site and served behind a traditional serving counter inside the restaurant. As a To Go facility, there is no dining room or seating inside, Piccadilly CEO Azam Malik said in the release.

"We are very excited about the response to our first Piccadilly To Go, and we are planning to open multiple new Piccadilly To Go restaurants next year," he said. "Families want fresh, affordable, homestyle meal options, even though they don't always have time to shop and cook. That's what Piccadilly To Go provides."
 
The store also features a full-service, drive-thru window, where guests can order and pick up meals. Drive-thru orders can be placed online, by phone or at the window for quick pick up. The Baton Rouge location also delivers through the Waitr mobile app and Uber Eats. 
 
Piccadilly To Go is the result of Piccadilly Restaurants' ongoing response to modern consumer trends, according to the company. Throughout all the company's locations, to-go orders represent about a third of sales, Mal said.
 
Based on robust sales since the first Piccadilly To Go store opened in Cordova, Tennessee, earlier this year, as well as strong anticipation of the new Piccadilly To Go location in Baton Rouge, the company plans to open more Piccadilly To Go stores in 2019, Mal said.
 
With headquarters in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Piccadilly Restaurants has 41 locations in seven states throughout the Southeast, along with customized meal service for clients in a variety of industries, including schools, senior centers, and business and medical parks.
