Penn Station announces executive promotions

March 17, 2011

Penn Station East Coast Subs has announced some changes at its corporate office in Milford, Ohio. Scott Keller has been promoted to director of sales and R. Lance Vaught has been named director of operations.

Keller joined Penn Station in January 2009 as franchise sales representative. Prior to joining Penn Station, he was an industrial specialist with Cincinnati Commercial Realtors and a partner and general manager of two casual dining restaurants in Cincinnati. Keller also worked in real estate sales with HOCO Development, LLC in Cincinnati. He has a bachelor of business administration in finance and real estate from the University of Cincinnati.

Vaught has been with Penn Station, Inc. since October 2006, starting as an area representative for the Cincinnati, Columbus, Ohio, and Louisville, Ky., markets. Before joining the corporate staff, Vaught held various staff and managerial positions within one of Penn Station’s two company-owned restaurants. Vaught served as area representative manager before being promoted to director of operations this year. He graduated cum laude from Northern Kentucky University with a bachelor’s degree in management.

“Scott and Lance have been valuable members of our team and their promotions are well deserved and earned,” said Craig Dunaway, president of Penn Station, Inc. “We believe they will serve Penn Station well in their new positions as they bring experience and fresh ideas to development and operations.”

Penn Station has more than 220 restaurants in 12 states including Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia. Projections call for the opening of 25 restaurants in 2011, increasing to 35 in 2012 and 40 in 2013. Markets targeted for growth include Chicago, Detroit, Nashville and North and South Carolina.
