Pei Wei comps drop 1.5%

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Pei Wei's same-store sales decreased 1.5 percent for the third quarter ended Oct. 1.

 

"At Pei Wei, store and operating margins continued to be pressured by all cost lines except food and sales, general and administrative costs," wrote Raymond James analyst Bryan C. Elliott..

 

Pei Wei's parent company, P.F. Chang's China Bistro Inc., reported net income for the quarter fell to $6.6 million from $8.4 million.

 

Revenue grew 14 percent to $231 million.
