Pei Wei adds crunch to sushi offerings

The Teriyaki and Wasabi Sushi Crunch rolls are topped with crunchy tempura flakes.

Pei Wei announced the addition of Sushi Crunch Rolls for a limited time.

The Crunch Rolls, available in Teriyaki and Wasabi flavors, are topped with crunchy tempura flakes. Customers can add four rolls to an entrée for $3.29 or order eight rolls for $5.99.

Teriyaki Crunch Roll: krab, mango and tempura flakes, drizzled with teriyaki and wasabi aioli.

Wasabi Crunch Roll: Ahi tuna roll filled with cucumbers, scallions, rice and sesame seeds and drizzled with teriyaki sauce and wasabi aioli.

"We've received tremendous feedback for our sushi as a light meal or as a complement to our entrées and salads," said Ralph Bower, CEO of Pei Wei, in a company press release. "Our Crunch Rolls give diners more exciting menu options to experience the unique flavors they've come to expect from Pei Wei."

To celebrate the launch of its Crunch Rolls, Pei Wei is inviting its social media fans to share their best tips for staying focused and energized in high-pressure situations.

By submitting their Crunch Time tips online, Pei Wei fans will automatically be entered into a drawing for Pei Wei prizes, including a daily giveaway of a $25 Pei Wei Gift Card and ten grand prizes of free Pei Wei for a year.

Fans can enter the #CrunchTime sweepstakes at crunchtime.peiwei.com from now through Dec. 14. Fans will earn an additional chance at winning both the daily and grand prize by sharing the sweepstakes after entering.
