SignOnSanDiego.com: Responding to customers' health concerns, Pat & Oscar's restaurant chain said it has removed trans-fatty oils from its popular breadsticks and other menu items.
The initiative by the 17-store San Diego chain comes as the restaurant industry debates the use in cooking and baking of partially hydrogenated oils, which contain trans-fats that contribute to heart disease.
