PAR Technology launches Smart Passes, next era of loyalty engagement

PAR Technology Corporation has launched Smart Passes, a wallet-native loyalty solution that transforms Apple and Google Wallet into a real-time, app-free loyalty channel, according to a press release.

Smart Passes, built into the PAR Punchh platform and designed for mobile-first guests, give restaurants a new way to reach, covert and retain guests via their smartphones.

With one-tap enrollment and real-time delivery of points, perks, and offers, Smart Passes brings loyalty into guests' daily routines without downloads, logins or delays.

"This isn't loyalty tacked on; it's loyalty-first by design," Savneet Singh, CEO of PAR Technology, said in the press release. "Smart Passes creates a new, native loyalty channel that removes friction without disrupting the guest experience or operational flow. Smart Passes remove barriers with one-tap enrollment, real-time updates and no app requirement. Smart Passes engages casual guests and first-timers often overlooked, extending program reach with minimal lift.

Smart Passes is fully integrated into Punchh, syncing directly with existing campaigns, guest data, and engagement flows—no added vendors, no data silos, no manual syncs.
