Panera names top-performing GM

Panera Bread has namedAnthony Lalima as its top general manager of the second quarter because of his work at a unit in West Hartford, Conn.

Howley Bread Ltd., which owns and operates 22 Panera stores in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island, also announced that one of its stores in Lisbon, Conn., was named Bakery Cafe of the Quarter. Stacy Plitsas, who also works at the Lisbon branch, was named Manager of the Quarter.

Renee Dubois, who lives in Salem, Conn., and works in the Waterford store, was named an Associate of the Quarter as was Davina Lester, who works in the Lisbon store, and Marissa Hasbargen of Canterbury, Conn., who works in the Foxwoods Resort Casino branch in Mashantucket, Conn.
