Panera Bread launches meeting invite service in Indianapolis
July 7, 2009
INDIANAPOLIS — On July 7, the 14 Indianapolis-area Panera Bread locations will begin offering a free meeting invitation service to enable patrons to schedule business or social meetings to be held at Panera restaurants.
Panera developed this initiative to help meet the business building, networking and social meeting needs of home-based entrepreneurs, businesses professionals, event planners, social groups and service and professional organizations.
Meeting organizers can go online to schedule a meeting and invite their attendees. The promotion includes reserved table space, upon availability, and a free drink to the meeting organizer who registers through the site.
"In our challenging economy, we find many more people are launching their own home-based businesses or looking for innovative ways to increase their business," said Dana Darts, Indiana marketing manager of Panera Bread. "We're offering www.letsmeetatpanera.com to provide ‘virtual' meeting space outside the home or business setting. We believe meeting at Panera provides an out-of-the box and inspirational setting for meeting organizers to gather with their guests in a professional, convenient and comfortable location."
