Panera Bread creates Panera Kids menu

RICHMOND HEIGHTS, Mo. — On June 21, Panera Bread will introduce Panera Kids, a children's menu featuring organic and all-natural offerings.
According to a news release, the company will give away a free Panera Kids meal (with the purchase of any regularly priced menu item) at all 900-plus Panera bakery-cafes.
Panera chairman and chief executive Ron Shaich said the company wants to give moms a break by providing nourishing lunches for their children.
"We hope kids will take this opportunity to take mom to lunch and enjoy sharing a meal together," he said.
New Panera Kids menu options include:
- All-natural peanut butter with grape jelly sandwich
- Turkey, ham, or roast beef sandwich made with Horizon Organic American cheese
- Grilled cheese sandwich made with Horizon Organic American cheese
- Horizon organic low fat milk, reduced fat chocolate milk or organic apple juice
- Horizon organic squeezable yogurt
