Panera Bread appoints interim CFO

Panera Bread Company has announced that its board of directors has appointed Thomas Patrick Kelly as interim chief financial officer, effective April 9, 2012.

Kelly will report to Bill Moreton, president and Co-CEO, and is serving as interim CFO while the company searches for a permanent replacement.

As interim CFO, Kelly will manage the company's finance and accounting departments while Moreton will continue to be the primary contact with the investment community during the search for its new CFO.

Panera Bread's former CFO, Jeff Kip, left the company March 15 to join IAC/InterActiveCorp.
