Panda Express to launch Honey Walnut Shrimp nationwide

Panda Express has announced the launch of its most decadent dish to date, Honey Walnut Shrimp. Debuting at all Panda Express restaurants March 10, the premium entrée is made with fresh tempura shrimp, wok-tossed in Panda's signature gourmet honey sauce and topped with glazed walnuts.
 
Panda Express' Honey Walnut Shrimp is the latest creation from executive chef Andy Kao, who first served the dish more than 25 years ago at Panda Inn, the company's flagship restaurant concept.
 
"Honey Walnut Shrimp will quickly become a fan favorite," said Glenn Lunde, Panda Express senior vice president and chief marketing officer, in a news release. "Our guests are looking for new and exciting flavors, and we are proud to offer our first premium shrimp entrée to satisfy those high expectations."
 
To thank its guests and celebrate the national debut of Honey Walnut Shrimp, the company will celebrate "Free Honey Walnut Shrimp Wednesday" on March 10 at participating stores nationwide. Guests will receive a free single entrée serving of Honey Walnut Shrimp with an exclusive coupon available to Panda Express Facebook Fans.
