Panda Express to benefit YMCA on Rossford unit's opening day

Panda Express will donate a percentage of the proceeds from its Rossford, Ohio opening day on Aug. 12, according to a press release.

"We're honored to serve the residents of Rossford and soon become an integral part of the neighborhood," Mingtao Chi, multi-unit manager, said in the release. "We're eager to be a community leader in customer service and look forward to introducing guests to our delicious American Chinese menu."

The donation will be made to Fort Meigs YMCA, and Panda Express hopes to donate 20 percent of a day's proceeds to other partners in the future, according to the release.
