Panda Express on the lookout for 'joy'

Panda Express focusing on 'joy' during Thanksgiving season with social media promotion.

Panda Express will spend 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. PST Nov. 19 "joy-spotting" on Twitter -- identifying people who have shared moments of joy and thanks -- and randomly surprise 888 of them with a $20 gift card to Panda Express.

"It's so inspiring to see all the posts of thanks and joy that are shared about family, friends, coworkers and others this time of year. We're helping people take it one step further by encouraging them to also share joyful moments off-line over a meal on us at Panda Express,” said VP of Guest Marketing Dave Wallinga in a company press release.
