Panda Express hosts Chinese New Year events for students

ROSEMEAD, Calif. —As people around the globe prepare for Chinese New Year festivities, Panda Express welcomes in the Year of the Dog by offering educational Chinese New Year parties at elementary and middle schools, as part of their cultural education program. According to a company news release, the experience teaches children about New Year traditions, history and the Chinese zodiac calendar. Students will also enjoy Panda Express dishes along with lessons on how to use chopsticks.
Eighty schools throughout California are participating in the events.
