In an effort to raise funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Pancheros Mexican Grill has partnered with Ryan Wade's One Step At a Time initiative. With a goal of raising $175,000, Wade will embark on his 250-mile journey Tuesday on the Minnesota-Iowa border in Eitzen and cross the finish line on April 25 in Farmington, according to a company press release. Through his seven-day adventure, he hopes to raise awareness and money to help find a cure for various blood cancers.

Pancheros has donated funds to the cause and will provide a support vehicle for the run.

"Since becoming involved with L.L.S., I've been motivated by my supporters who have dedicated much of their time to a cause that changes people's lives,” said Wade, who was recently nominated for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Man of the Year for Eastern Iowa. "With extra support from Pancheros, we will be able to generate greater awareness for an organization that makes such a significant impact in the lives of those suffering from these life-threatening illnesses."

One Step At a Time is about one man's journey to bring Iowan communities together in an effort to touch the lives of many, said Rodney Anderson, president of Pancheros Mexican Grill. "Ryan's commitment to helping others is an inspiration to all of us on the Pancheros team, and we are honored to play an integral role in his mission to help find a cure.”
