Pancheros Mexican Grill has introduced a new line of proprietary hot sauces. Forming a partnership with specialty food purveyor, Juan, the Iowa-based franchise has developed two original sauce flavors — Flavolcano and Greenade — said Rodney Anderson, president of Pancheros Mexican Grill.
Through the creation of these new sauces, Pancheros will provide two distinct options for patrons to heat up their burrito concoctions, according to a company press release. The Flavolcano sauce is a combination of seven different spicy peppers, including smoked jalapeños, which creates a smoky, smooth flavor. In contrast, the Greenade sauce has a more eclectic taste and is rich and tangy with subtle hints of citrus. Each sauce can be paired with the brand's burrito selections, or one of Pancheros' quesadillas, tacos, burrito bowls or salads.
"Developing our own hot sauces has always been a goal of ours, and we look forward to offering our loyal customers two authentic sauces to choose from," Anderson said. "With our new partnership with Original Juan, we hope to formulate many more options for a fresh twist on our 'burritos better built' in the years to come."
