NEW YORK — Soup Kitchen International and Cold Stone Creamery will open the first hybrid, co-branded franchise in early November in New York City, the companies have announced.
The Original SoupMan/Cold Stone Creamery will feature 50 varieties of soup created by Al Yeganeh, the man who inspired the "Soup Episode" on "Seinfeld." Each meal will include a piece of baguette, fresh fruit and a piece of imported chocolate.Gourmet salads and sandwiches also will be available.
During the grand opening ceremony, one customer will win a free cup of soup every day for the rest of his life, while another customer will win a free cup of ice cream as part of the "Soup/Ice Cream for Life" drawing. The first 100 customers will receive gift bags.
