NRA chairman to give Fast Casual Summit lunch address

Michael Kaufman, chairman of theNational Restaurant Associationand co-president and owner of Enovo Restaurant Ventures LLC, has signed on to give the lunch address on day two of the Fast Casual Executive Summit.
 
The Summit will be held Sept. 14-15 at The Hotel Palomar in Dallas and will feature two days of collaborative networking sessions geared toward fast casual restaurant executives.
 
The session, It's Not Just Lunch, will take place Sept. 15 from 12:30-1:30 p.m.
 
Enovo owns the contemporary American restaurant brand Harry's Tap Room, which has four locations in Northern Virginia. Kaufman also previously established Pond Hill Ventures LLC to advise and invest in hospitality ventures.
 
Until 2003, he served for more than a decade as president of the then $1.3 billion (system sales) Dallas-based Metromedia Restaurant Group, which comprised Bennigan's, Steak and Ale, Bonanza and Ponderosa. Kaufman previously served as a managing director of the acquisition arm of Metromedia Co. and as a corporate and securities lawyer with Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton and Garrison in New York City. He is graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School.
