Noodles & Company opens in Chicago suburb

CHICAGO — Noodles & Company has announced it will open its first restaurant in Glen Ellyn, marking the chain's 26th location in Illinois.
As part of its grand opening celebration, Noodles & Company will host a pre-opening fundraiser June 10 to benefit the Glen Ellyn Public Library. The Glen Ellyn Public Library's mission is to provide information and programs that enrich and enhance the quality of life in the Glen Ellyn community.
From 5 to 9 p.m., 100 percent of sales at the new Noodles & Company will be donated to the Glen Ellyn Public Library. Funds raised will be used to support the library's Bus to Books program, a summer enrichment program for English as a Second Language (ESL) and financially disadvantaged children of Glen Ellyn. As a part of the program, children and family members are driven to the Glen Ellyn Public Library each week for a one-hour visit, which includes special programming, participation in the summer reading incentive program and the opportunity to check out library books.
