Noodles & Company raised $420,000 during last month's "20 for $2" campaign for the No Kid Hungry project, according to a press release. Customers were invited to donate $2 to the organization to support the purchase of healthful meals for the nation's many children who are struggling with hunger.
"We are so thankful for Noodles & Company's support and hard work throughout this 2016 campaign," said No Kid Hungry Senior Director Diana Hovey, in the release. "They were wholeheartedly committed to this campaign, and their incredible donation will help provide more than 5 million meals to children who need them most, allowing us to take another step toward our goal of ending childhood hunger in America."
