Newk's will open newest location with Make-A-Wish Fundraiser

The fundraiser is part of the grand opening celebration for the newest Newk's, located in the Inverness area in Birmingham, Alabama.

Four Birmingham, Alabama, Newk's locations will raise money for Alabama's Make-A-Wish Foundation from Nov. 17 to Nov. 23.

The fundraiser is part of the grand opening celebration for the newest Newk's, located in the Inverness area. One dollar from every Newk’s Q sandwich purchased at Birmingham area restaurants from Nov. 17 through 23 will be donated to Alabama's Make-A-Wish.

The new Newk's is the fifth for franchisee Todd Jackson, his wife Sonya and a team of partners, who built their first Newk’s location in downtown Birmingham in 2007. They plan to open a sixth in Hoover by the year’s end.
