Newk's Eatery taps restaurant veteran CFO

Newk's Eatery has hired Michael Clock as chief financial officer and his to-do list includes doubling the franchise by 2019, growing from 103 to 200 units.

Clock takes the role with 22 years of restaurant accounting and financing experience, most recently serving as CFO for Good Smoke Restaurant Group.

“Cook's insight, expertise and passion for the food industry make him a perfect fit for Newk's,” said Chris Newcomb, co-founder and CEO of Newk's Eatery, in a release.
