Newk's Eatery adds 2 locations

Newk's Eatery opened its fifth Jacksonville restaurant and its first Frisco, Texas, restaurant, continuing the brand's commitment to expansion, according to a company press release. The 4,200-square-foot Jacksonville, Florida, location seats 138 guests.

"Jacksonville's growing population appreciates a premium dining experience, and we appreciate the city's love of Newk's," CEO and co-founder Chris Newcomb said in a press release. "Our new location in a popular shopping destination for locals and tourists alike allows us to introduce our brand to a much broader audience as we grow in North Florida, with additional restaurants planned for Gainesville and Tallahassee."

The 4,500-square-foot Frisco location seats 144 guests indoors and 30 on a patio.

"Frisco is a sophisticated community that expects more from a fast casual dining experience, such as premium ingredients, hand-prepared foods and personal service," Newcomb said. "Nothing is pre-chopped, pre-sliced, pre-packaged, pre-baked or microwaved; we don't take shortcuts to serve our guests meals made like we'd make for ourselves."
