Hurricane Grill & Wings, a beach-themed full service restaurant franchise, is opening its first fast casual concept, Hurricane BTW.

January 8, 2016

Hurricane Grill & Wings, a beach-themed full service restaurant franchise, is opening its first fast casual concept, Hurricane BTW, within a couple months in the greater Ft. Lauderdale area.

"2015 was a year of incredible growth for Hurricane Grill & Wings with 12 new openings and a record-breaking number of multi-unit development agreements," said Kevin Kruse, chief development officer of Hurricane Grill & Wings. "We have attracted experienced restaurant operators to become franchisees of our unique, proven and growing brand and plan to continue expanding worldwide in 2016."

The new fast casual unit is near the company's corporate offices in West Palm Beach and will serve as a test to help the brand work out any kinks before offering franchising opportunities along with its three casual dining models.

"We continue to have success growing our existing Hurricane Grill & Wings brand, and we saw an opportunity to take our best-selling menu items and combine them with a fast casual service model and a fun, energetic restaurant design," Kruse said. "We believe we can produce a great guest experience as well as superior unit level economics. Needless to say, we are excited to get open and started."
