New plans on the horizon for Fiesta Restaurant Group

Fiesta Restaurant Group Inc is separating its current restaurants, Pollo Tropical and Taco Cabana, into two companies. Its headquarters will be moving to Addison, Texas, in late 2016, according to a company press release.

The long-term business model includes 10 percent restaurant growth, 10 percent revenue growth and 3 percent same-store sales growth. Pollo Tropical is rolling out a new app for smartphones and a loyalty program, the release said. An estimated 30 to 34 restaurants will open this year, doubling the company's size since 2012
