Nature's Table partners with Fransmart for expansion

June 1, 2010

Orlando-based Nature's Table Café has signed a franchise partnership with Fransmart, the franchise development company behind the growth of brands such as Qdoba, Five Guys Burgers & Fries and Zpizza. Founded in 1977, Nature's Table has 78 restaurants in 12 states.

"Our fresh, natural approach to the restaurant business has given us a loyal customer base and made our franchisees successful entrepreneurs," said Nature's Table founder Dick Larsen. "We've carved a unique niche in fast casual, and we are thrilled to partner with Fransmart to accelerate our worldwide expansion."

The concept will be targeting both multiunit and master franchisees to develop territories across the United States and in select international markets.

Nature's Table offers signature sandwiches served on several types of bread, gourmet wraps, specialty salads, soups, nutritional smoothies, natural fruits, coffees, breakfast offerings, desserts and snacks. The fast casual concept has found success in both traditional and non-traditional venues including Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, Orlando International Airport, T-Mobile and AT&T Wireless office buildings, turnpike plazas, health clubs, hospitals, college campuses and malls.

"Nature's Table is an operator's dream – a hot concept with mass appeal that is simple to operate with minimal labor and no hoods, grills, vents or fryers," said Fransmart CEO Dan Rowe. "This franchisor has been in business for 32 years and they've been franchising for 24 years, so their concept and systems have been proven again and again and continue to thrive."
