Native Foods Cafe acquired by Millstone Capital

Millstone Capital Advisors, a St. Louis-based private equity management company, has purchased Native Foods Cafe restaurant chain, a plant-based, fast casual restaurant group, according to a company press release.

Millstone Capital Advisors will provide Native Foods Cafe with the resources it needs to expand while staying true to its core values and quality, plant-based offerings, Managing Director Bob Millstone said in the release.

"To be aligned with a brand with the core values and healthy, sustainable dining options that Native Foods Cafe has is an honor," he said. "The plant-based dining segment has experienced solid year-over-year growth and Native Foods Cafe has been at the forefront of this segment for well over 20 years."

Since founded in 1994, Nature Foods Cafe has 13 units in California, Colorado, Oregon and Illinois.
