Moe's moves north, signs deals for 19 units

ATLANTA (June 15)- Moe's Southwest Grill, operator and franchisor of a chain of 133 fast-casual restaurants, said it had signed several franchise deals to open its first locations in the mid-Atlantic and Northeastern regions of the United States. Granville Smith of DC Eats and Donald James each had agreed to add three units in Maryland. Ron Jaeger is slated to open five locations in Fairfield County, Conn. Jim Morrisey had agreed to open five locations in Delaware. Bill McGolrick and Steve Walker had signed a deal to open three stores in Washington, D.C., the first unit of which is scheduled to open this summer.
