Moe's announces chief taco officer

Moe's Southwest Grill, recently named No. 3 on the Fast Casual Top 100 list, has named Kate Munoz as the chain's "chief taco officer."

Moe's found Munoz through a social media promotion billed as a search for the company's chief taco officer. The brand received entries from fans across the country, according to a company press release.

Munoz will lead Moe's Taco Tour as ambassador for its newest menu item, Three Amigos Tacos. The tour begins June 1 in Georgia.

"As a taco fanatic, expert and connoisseur, there is nothing wrong with eating tacos for breakfast, lunch, dinner and after dinner, and that's exactly what I plan on doing during the Moe's Taco Tour," Munoz said in the release.
