Mixt arriving in Cali's East Bay this month

Mixt will launch two stores in California this month, one in Uptown, Oakland, this Saturday, April 6 and one on Saturday, April 27 at San Ramon's City Center Bishop Ranch.

The California-based, fast casual restaurant known for farm fresh salads, grain bowls and plates, will dole out 250 complimentary totes filled with exclusive items at the Oakland grand opening, according to a press release. The Oakland location marks the 12th restaurant in the area. The brand will also donate 12 percent of grand opening proceeds during the first weekend to City Slicker Farms, a non-profit partner that supports urban farming and education.

The San Ramon grand opening will also feature 250 totes of exclusive items from local merchants, and Mixt will donate $1 from every salad sold during the grand opening weekend to local non-profit partner The Urban Farmers.
