The Middleby Corporation announced it has acquired Concordia Coffee Company Inc., a manufacturer of automated and self-service coffee and espresso machines serving the commercial foodservice industry.

Concordia's products serve the c-store, hotel, restaurant and institutional industries. The company is located in Seattle and has approximately $15 million in annual revenues, according to a press release.

"The acquisition of Concordia expands and complements Middleby's growing portfolio of brands and innovative equipment solutions serving the beverage category," Middleby CEO Selim A. Concordia is expected to launch a new product in the upcoming months, called the Ascent, which brews single-cup coffee with zero waste, Bassoul added.
