Miami Subs Grill launches Latin Fusion menu

September 5, 2012

Miami Subs Grill has rolled out a new Latin Fusion menu in time to celebration National Hispanic Heritage Month, which is Sept. 15-Oct. 15.

The menu launch comes on the heels of the Florida-based brand's franchise expansion efforts in South America, and the addition of musician Pitbull as an equity partner in the company.

"The introduction of Miami Sub's Latin Fusion Menu is largely a reflection of the exciting global growth and changes that we've experienced within the company including the announcement of international music sensation Pitbull as an equity partner and board member," said CEO Richard Chwatt.

Miami Sub's new Latin Fusion Menu includes:

  • The Cuban Sandwich, served on a 6-inch or 12-inch sub roll, Panini style;
  • The Roast Pork Sandwich, mojo marinated pork with sautéed onions, pickles and potato sticks served on a round brioche roll;
  • Tostones, a Caribbean side dish of fried green plantains;
  • Yellow Rice; Guava Cheesecake and tropical beverages, Materva and Jupina.
  • Existing Latin-inspired Miami Subs menu items which have earned a permanent spot on the new Latin Fusion Menu include the Nacho Ordinary Cheesesteak, Fajita Cheesesteak, along with the recently added Havana Burger and Jalapeno Bites.

"We are excited to offer our loyal brand followers and new customers the opportunity to experience familiar flavors and the option to mix a taste of 'home' with their Miami Subs favorites as we continue domestic and worldwide expansion efforts," said Frank Baran, vice president.

The chain has introduced several new products this year, including healthy options certified by Healthy Dining Finder and a line of angus steak burgers.
