Menchie's marked the opening of two stores recently, one in Canada and one in Connecticut. The Canadian store opened in Georgetown, Ontario, and marked the brand's 100th location in that market.
“Canada has proven to be a strong and successful market for us and we see this growth continuing. This is an exciting event for our entire team, and we are proud to share it with our franchisees who have helped reach this milestone,” said Menchie's CEO Amit Kleinberger in a company press release. “We strive to provide the ultimate experience for all guests, and work hard to ensure that they not only have great tasting yogurt, but that they also leave with a smile on their face.”
Menchie's also opened a store in Newington, Conn., at 2985 Berlin Turnpike. The store will celebrate now through July 26 with free giveaways of Menchie's merchandise, family-friendly activities and free frozen yogurt.
“With extensive experience in the corporate world and my partner, Jad Chawi, having run a successful business, we knew our combined skill set of management and marketing would allow us to be successful Menchie’s franchise owners,” Franchisee Richard Khazzaka said in the release. “The fun-loving environment of Menchie’s is truly extraordinary and we cannot wait to make the Newington community smile with our best-in-class frozen yogurt.”
